Parking Light Amber Lens Removal Items required: box cutter flat screw driver Permatex clear RTV sealer Step by step 1. Open engine compartment hood. 2. Turn & remove headlight retaining pins. 3. Gently pullout headlight assembly and secure it out of the way. 4. The parking lamp assembly can now be accessed for removal. 5. Use a flat screw driver to depress the plastic clip and swing out the assembly. 6. Remove the lamps, note the amber bulb is already there from the factory. 7. Now for the hard part! Use a box cutter or any sharp instrument to carefully cut the sealer from the perimeter of the lens, you need to then pry off the lens very slowly being carefull not to crack or scratch the lens. 8. The amber lens is now exposed! Pry away the 4 glued spots of the amber lens very slowly being carefull not to crack or scratch the lens. 9. This is a good time to take a break and wash the blood off you hands. 10. Discard the amber lens or save to maintain all original parts. 11. Ensure the inside of clear lens is free of finger prints and foreign objects prior to reassembly. 12. Apply Permatex sealer to housing and firmly press clear lens into place. 13. Reverse steps 6 thru 1 to reinstall. Note: When reinstalling make sure the plastic bump is in the middle of the slot before seating the clip. Feuey5/03
